JV doesnt have to weigh in cus we didnt practice too much during the week, and everyone knows that JV doesnt really matter. so pretty much pairings are done sorta randomly, and with a lot of guesswork about weights. i go check the pairings, and find out that i am wrestling a chick. this makes me kinda nervous, cus i dont like wrestling girls, but i know its not that big a deal, cus everyone knows chicks suck at wrestling. so its time for my match, ive been jacking around the whole time, and i keep jacking around once the match starts. i shoot a shot, just so i dont have to jack around anymore, but HOLY SHIT! she doesnt curl into the fetal position and surrender as i expected...in fact, she counters, and scores a take down WTF?? the only thing i can say in my defense at this point, besides a lack of effort, and mental drive, was that the chick weighed about 15-20 pounds more than i did. in any case, i get pissed, cus hell if im gonna get ridden out for 1.5 mins by a chick, even if shes bigger than Ramer...so i escape, then kinda do half a jogging lap around the mat, cus i still dont care that much. i decided to stall for the rest of the period, somewhere getting a takedown to take the lead. i take top in the second period, cus i still dont really give a damn, and i ride her for like a minute, then let her go, and stall for the rest of the period. now this chick thinks shes hot shit, and takes down so she can get an escape and win the match. well hell if im gonna let her do that, so i flip her over, lie on top of her for like a minute, remind her that shes a chick, and not really good at wrestling, even if i am tired and lazy. then i pin her ass, cus im cool like that. the i feel mildly embarassed that it took me 5 minutes to pin a chick, additionaly embarassed that she actualy got a takedown...werd...oh well, i took care of business, then promptly had 3 gatorades and slacked off.
but holy shit! we got beat by indianola...a lot of our guys were sick, but there were 3 close matches we should have won, and 1 where we shouldnt have been pinned, for a total point swing of 20 pts, enough to win...oh well, at least i can slack off this weekend, instead of going to a tournament.
